Care after use for Stone Italiana engineered quartz stone bench tops and vanities
Gloss Finish
Wipe the surface after use with a cloth or a non scratch scourer sponge/pad and mild detergent. For stubborn food stains, use White King READY – TO –USE light Bleach Spray bottle or a drop of undiluted White King Gel Bleach bottle and rinse with clean water. When you spot clean, please make sure you clean the whole surface as well.
SPECIAL NOTE: Quartz stones containing fragments of Mother of Pearl shell need extra care, as the shells are softer than the quartz material and not acid resistant. Therefore, caustic detergents (like Domestos), and bleach must not be used to clean these surfaces.
Gloss Finish Tiles
Caring for your tiles: We recommend the use of a neutral detergent, clean water, a clean mop, or a white polishing pad. For spot cleaning of sticky materials, like chewing gum, please use neutral solvents. For more stubborn stains, we recommend the use of White King READY -TO – USE light Bleach Spray bottle or a small drop of undiluted White King Gel bottle and mop with clean water.
In a commercial area, buffing up may be required in heavy traffic areas to minimize tracking. We therefore recommend a light water-based wax/sealer that will rejuvenate and enhance the appearance. Cleaning products that contain Xylem, Toluene (contained in paint thinners and oven cleaners), Potassium Hydroxide or Caustic Soda should not be used.
SPECIAL NOTE: QuartzStone tiles containing fragments of Mother of Pearl shell need extra care as the shells are softer than the quartz material and not acid resistant. Therefore, cleaning products containing bleach or caustic soda should not be used.

When you spot clean, please make sure you clean the whole surface as well.
SPECIAL NOTE:
We highly recommend Stone masons to use Lithofin MN, Stain-Stop, no-gloss sealer on all the Grain Matt (Super White13 and mid to dark colors) Jaipur, Juta, RocFace & Lunare slabs prior to cutting and Installing, to eliminate watermarks and sediments caused by recycled water.
HOT ITEMS: We recommend placing hot items (straight out the oven, microwave or from hot plate) onto a cutting board, and not directly onto any stone surface including granite, as this action may cause thermal shock within the material, which may be evidenced by the formation of fine hairline cracks. It is also not advisable to place electric Fry-pans, Grill and Woks directly onto stone surface for a similar reason, as some poorly designed appliances can overheat.
No stone is chip-proof, particularly at the sinks. It is tough but not Indestructible.

Caring for Stone Italiana Engineered Marble Tiles
Stone Italiana – Eco Marmo – Gloss engineered Marble tiles
Eco-Marmo gloss, engineered marble tiles have a very low level of water absorption (less than 0.05 percent) and therfore do not require any sealers, after they are laid on bathroom floors or walls.
It should be noted, however, that for ECO-MARMO® tiles being used in a high-traffic area such as an entrance foyer in an office building, the tiles may show some evidence of ‘tracking’ over a period of time. It is then advisable to apply a coat of water- based wax sealant to the surface, followed by buffing with either a white polishing pad or a felt pad. This process may then be repeated periodically, in order to maintain the lustre and elegance of the tiles.
When used in commercial premises, such as Shopping Centers, the ECO-MARMO® tiles can be buffed daily using a marble floor polishing machine fitted with the above mentioned pads. Prior to the daily polish, the tiles should first of all be cleaned using a warm neutral detergent, followed by mopping with clean water and clean mopping pads. As ECO-MARMO® tiles are of marble-based composition, it should be noted that detergents containing hydrochloric acid (such as Domestos), bleaching agents or any other caustic solvents must NOT be used.
For general cleaning of ECO-MARMO® wall tiles, use environmentally friendly cloths such as Enjo and Bessemer.
